I know you’re used to seeing a My Life as a Turtle post every Thursday or Friday, but this past week’s events would render that kind of post irrelevant.
So let me just say this:
Tomorrow is my “end” date—but I will not be killing (or unaliving as the speech police prefer) myself.
Quite the contrary, I have renewed vigor for life in these dangerous days. My Turtle writings have brought me to a new place, vibrant acceptance, and unforeseen purpose.
Thank you for your attention and support.
I begin the third chapter of my life strong, confident, healthier than I can ever remember, almost entirely male (outward appearance notwithstanding), and no longer afraid to speak my mind, take a stance, or call out bullshit.
My next Turtle post melds all my parts into Harris—and like the Monkees, he has something to say.
Buckle up. Stay tuned. See you anon.
Fact: my first thought was: He set this up...
“Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe.”
― Albert Einstein
Happy reNEWed life! I love that you will still be here, Harris, in this crazy world along with the rest of us!! Keep trying to make sense of it all.
Your friend, Susan
